The TR8 Virtual Wallet and Stakes
The TR8 demo uses a local virtual wallet to track your progress. The initial balance is set to 1000 virtual coins. During a game round, you choose one of four active stakes: 10, 20, 50, or 100. This stake is captured at the start of the round. While the game is active, your ability to change the stake or refill is locked. However, you can still adjust settings like sound and collect your winnings manually if you choose.
Affine Plane Witness: The Original Demo
Affine Plane Witness fixes twelve fair bits at the start. Bits reveal in order from least significant to most significant. Consecutive groups of three form four vectors using binary weights 1, 2 and 4 within each group. The terminal score is an indicator: 1 when all four vectors are distinct and their bitwise XOR is zero, otherwise 0. A score of 1 is not a one-coin payment; it determines the final gross multiplier.
Gross Quote and Settlement Rules
The live gross quote is calculated as 0.97 times the conditional probability of terminal score 1 divided by its initial probability, 21/256. This quote can rise or fall during the round. If the quote hits zero, the round ends immediately. If the round ends with a positive final quote, it settles automatically. You can also collect manually after the first reveal. The 3% opening deduction is applied only once in the quote.
Auto Collect Thresholds and Manual Play
Auto collect thresholds are set at 1.2, 2, 3, or 5. These thresholds collect the actual full first-crossing quote. If a threshold is unreachable, the system waits for the terminal result. Manual collection is available after the first reveal. Every policy using only revealed information has a 97% expected gross return. The displayed multipliers are gross coin returns, not profit.
Fractional Carry and Local Balance
Settlement multiplies the captured stake by the exact gross quote and adds the saved fractional carry. The wallet receives the whole-coin floor of this sum, and its fractional remainder is saved for later settlement. Display rounding to four decimal places does not change this calculation. Settled balance, including zero, and carry persist on reload. An unfinished round is lost without refund or resuming.
Manual Restoration and Eligibility
If your idle balance drops below 10, you may restore it to 1000 with fractional change preserved. This restoration is manual and requires you to be idle. It does not refund an unfinished round. The reset amount is 1000. Restoration does not add the reset amount automatically. A saved wallet does not mean a round or all progress resumes. The restoration feature is a convenience for idle players, not a guarantee of safe behavior.
