Personal limits
You may decide how long to play and how many virtual coins to use before beginning. These are voluntary choices outside the interface. The demo has no enforced timer, account block or self-exclusion feature.
Pauses and stopping
You can close the page or take a break. Manual collection is available only after the first bit reveals, while the round is still active. A zero quote ends immediately. Closing or reloading an unfinished round does not refund its stake.
Understanding the game
Twelve fixed fair bits form four three-bit vectors. The quote changes with revealed information and can rise or fall. Selecting an auto threshold changes the stopping rule; it does not raise the 97% expected gross return or guarantee a session result.
Wallet limits
Stakes are 10, 20, 50 or 100 virtual coins. Stake, auto and restoration controls are locked during a round; sound remains available. An idle balance below 10 can be manually set to exactly 1,000, preserving fractional carry. Restoration may be used again whenever these conditions hold; it is not a refund or a reason to extend a session.
Storage and external requests
This site loads a Google Fonts stylesheet and font files, and its builder includes Statinside44 measurement requests. These external providers receive network requests; local wallet storage does not imply anonymous or exclusively local processing. Settled balance and fractional carry are saved in localStorage. The demo has no account-login flow.
Getting support
If time spent playing is affecting your daily life, you may stop and seek appropriate local qualified help. This guide supplies no clinical treatment, diagnostic assessment or account-level exclusion service.
Frequently asked questions
Is the 18+ age requirement enforced?
No, the 18+ designation is an audience policy for this guide, not a universal legal age gate or an enforced mechanism. The demo does not verify your age before you start playing.
How does the wallet restoration work?
If your balance drops below 10 coins and you are idle, you can manually restore your balance to 1,000 coins. This is not automatic and does not refund an unfinished round. Fractional changes are preserved during this process.
Do virtual coins have cash value?
No, the virtual coins used in the TR8 demo have no cash value. There is no cashier, no deposit, and no withdrawal. You cannot win or lose real money.
